What is 16+ Mentoring

We work with statutory bodies and parents or other adults with children in their care to assist young people to develop their self care and living skills. This can include self-relience as well as helping yound people to make appropriate decision making and encourage them to gain independence.

There are different packages available including shared accommodation, individual supported accommodation, sleep-in staff and mentoring in young persons own accommodation and our aim is to provide a positive experience for young people as they grow and develop into young adults. In doing so this provides opportunities supported by adults in exercising independence while maintaining security and knowledge that help is available to them if they need it.
